Data controller

The data controller is two private individuals operating under the nameDziadek Komodor as unregistered small-scale activity (działalność nierejestrowana) based in Wyrzysk, Poland. For any data-related questions, contact us at: kontakt@dziadekkomodor.pl.

What data we collect and why

Contact form

The form at /kontakt collects: your name, contact details (phone or email), location, device type, a description of the problem, and — optionally — a photo of the device.

Purpose: to respond to your enquiry, prepare a repair quote, and carry out the service.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, given by ticking the checkbox on the form. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing tokontakt@dziadekkomodor.pl. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Browser storage

The site saves a draft of the form in your browser's local storage (localStorage), on your device only. This data is not sent to us until you submit the form. The draft is deleted automatically on a successful submission, or you can remove it yourself by clearing site data in your browser settings.

This site uses no cookies and no tracking systems.

Who we share data with

Form submissions are forwarded to a private working channel in Discord(Discord Inc., USA) via a webhook. Discord relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission as the legal basis for data transfers to the US under Article 46 GDPR. Discord's privacy policy is available at discord.com/privacy.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry data for no longer than 12 months from our last contact (covering the warranty period plus a buffer for potential claims), after which it is deleted. If you'd like us to delete your data sooner, email kontakt@dziadekkomodor.pl.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights:

• Right of access — you can ask what personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Right to restriction — you can ask us to pause processing in certain circumstances.
• Right to data portability — you can receive your data in a structured format.
• Right to withdraw consent — at any time, without giving a reason.

Voluntary provision of data

Providing your contact details is voluntary, but necessary for us to respond to your request. Without this information we cannot handle your enquiry.

If we make material changes to how we process data, we will update the date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review it periodically.
